Every good story begins somewhere. Ours begins in Texas, with a native evergreen and a simple question: what if one of America’s own plants became part of the way we begin each day?
We were drawn to yaupon for its character, its deep roots in this place, and the possibility held in its leaves. But a good product is never just an ingredient. It is a relationship with the land, a respect for the hands that tend it, and a commitment to doing the work well.

Make it ourselves. Know it well.
We believe in knowing our product from the ground up. We are involved in growing, harvesting, curing, roasting, and packaging—because quality should never be a distant promise. It should be present in every decision, every batch, and every detail.
For TEXAS YAPA, that means working with carefully selected yaupon and creating our own roast profiles. We work alongside growers and keep the craft of roasting close to the heart of the company.
Grow at the pace of good practice
We believe the future of good food and drink depends on how it is grown. Our commitment is to responsible agriculture, healthy soils, biodiversity, and a long view of the landscape. Growth should follow the land’s capacity—not the other way around.
Our vision reaches beyond a single harvest: native woodland, mature tree canopy, and yaupon thriving in the understory. We see cultivation and careful harvesting as a relationship to be maintained over generations, with the health of the wider ecosystem always in view.
One clear beginning
We are keeping the first chapter intentionally focused: one botanical ingredient, roasted yaupon, and the work required to make it consistently good. We are not trying to launch a collection of unrelated products. We want to do this one thing properly before considering what comes next.
Our ambition is straightforward: make roasted yaupon a recognized American everyday beverage—and build a company whose way of working is as considered as the cup it makes.
Our story is a living one. The work continues with every grower, harvest, roast, and cup.
